Who we are

I'm James, the founder and sole maker behind Rainy Leather Co.

Every belt that leaves my bench is cut, stitched, and finished by my hands — no factory, no shortcuts. I work with full-grain leather and materials chosen to last because those are the only things worth putting your name on.

The vintage buckles are personal. I hunt them down one at a time — estate sales, old collections, forgotten drawers — and pair each one with a custom strap built to match its character. No two pieces are the same, because they shouldn't be.

I started this because I wanted to make things that last. Not a season. Not a few years. A lifetime — and then someone else's.
